Our Vision

The Kansas City Women’s Chorus is a non-profit, community based choral group that comes together with the joined purpose of creating a positive musical contribution to the community. Created in 1999, the Chorus has spanned a decade, building bridges with local community charities while bringing entertaining and enlightening women’s choral music to Kansas City. The Chorus is proud of its diverse membership. We are single, married, gay, and straight women. We are mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters. We are businesswomen, doctors, teachers, technicians, and artists who represent a wide range of ages, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds. It is our greatest hope that upon experiencing our music, our songs will engage the heart, celebrate the spirit, and enrich the minds of our audiences.
